IFCW-PRU -- CSU Extension - Team listserv for Individual, Family and Community Well-Being PRU

About IFCW-PRU
English (USA)

Hello!

I would like to officially welcome you to the IFCW PRU! I was able to get you added to our email listserv, so you will likely start seeing emails soon. If you have a general question and are unsure where to start, you can email the whole group to get some feedback. The main resource for our PRU currently is our Google folder. The repository of all files will be moving to SharePoint in the near future, and we will update you when that change happened. The link to our current Google folder is: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1WUDR2DqRyeTzZ1TvOByw_1bNqdqOuYLB?usp=sharing

In the Google Folder, you will find a ton of information. I would like to highlight a few things for you.
• A majority of the folders here are programs that have been or are being offered across the state. You may have some of the materials in your office. Many of them require training before you can deliver the program. Sheila B. and I are working on identifying a lead for each program that can help determine if agents need to be trained and hopefully complete the training if necessary. Please let me know if you have any questions on these!
• IFCW PRU Monthly Meeting…:This folder stores all of our information for our meetings including agendas, meeting recording, and minutes.
• Plan of Work – Issue Canvases: I think we covered this during Forum, but in case we did not, these are sort of our statewide goals for this PRU for this year. There is more information in the folder, but here are the basics -- We have two for this year:
o Issue Canvas 1: Healthy Aging -- Goal: Decrease social isolation, increase preventative health behavior, increase the number of older adults who are healthy in later life
o Issue Canvas 2: Family Financial Stability -- goal: The goal or intended ultimate outcome is for people to adopt good financial management practices, including, but not limited to, living within their means, making good decisions with their money, managing their debt, and planning.
• PLT Grant and Other Funding – Once a year we are able to apply for a grant through CSU as a PRU group. Should we decide to apply for other grants, etc. that is where we would likely keep the information.

I know that this is a ton of information, so please do not hesitate to reach out if you have more questions!
