About PrescribedFire_Group	English (USA)
This is a mailing list for the Prescribed Fire Working Group, a nationwide group of prescribed fire practitioners, NGOs, and academic experts convened jointly by a steering committee of individuals at Colorado State University, The Nature Conservancy and The Fire Learning Network, Rural Voices for Conservation Coalition, the Western Environmental Law Center, the University of California, the Washington Resource Conservation & Development Council, the Karuk Tribe, and the U.S. Forest Service. Our goal is to support prescribed fire and cultural burning across jurisdictions. We will identify opportunities to influence federal policy and practice (both legislative and administrative), share successful strategies/gaps/opportunities across regions, identify how to utilize existing or new venues and strategies to advance the group’s goals, and provide a venue for group learning and organizing.
